Jim Kraus is an American painter and sculptor who lives and works in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. His colorful landscapes and abstractions explore the profound beauty of natural forms, while his repurposed wood and metal sculptures bring new life to materials otherwise destined for obscurity or the landfill. A former advertising creative director and photographer with a keen vision and practiced eye, Jim's highly developed aesthetic is admired and recognized by collectors in the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe.
